This connection does not support Direct Connect, only Express Web Connect. From what I'm able to find online, it appears Capital One have taken the decision to discontinue their support for Direct Connect services. The first post below has an "official response" from Quicken that mentions a new API based solution for Capital One next year. From the posts from the Quicken community, it looks like they've been working with Quicken on this new security feature, and it has not been going well. I have a feeling they will be making the same BAD change to CapitalOne 360 at some point, not the other way around. Yes, they put them under the same roof but options are still different between the accounts. I hope someone from InfinteKind will get the official word from Capital One and comment on one of the several posts about this issue. I also found a Quicken article about the one time passcode need in Quickbooks, but says to contact a specialist to get the details.

I notice there's a Change PIN option in my Settings option on my Capital One Bank accounts, maybe that's how we'd get that, similar to the Access Code we set up in Capital One 360 accounts.

She knows how to make the necessary direct connect update for Quicken users and it involves selecting a new bank name in Quicken (Capital One Bank - New).

She says the direct connect was not shut down, only updated. Out of curiosity (and boredom) I did a chat session with a Capital One representative (transcript attached) to see what they know. Please let me know if you continue to have connection problems after recreating your connection. Choosing your bank from the list of available banks will force Moneydance to download the updated information, which should then allow you to connect. Make sure you pick new connection, even though your bank is still one of the connection choices after you disable it.
